Week 17 - Sunday Spectacular
This is our final week of regular season LFL action. Several playoff spots are on the line, some of which depend on head-to-head action. Let's see how each match ends up... '68 NY Jets vs. '90 Buffalo The Jets travel to Buffalo for their final game. They must win to have any playoff shot, although their hopes depend on whether NE beats Miami. The Jets have quite the advantage, but Buffalo has shown before they have some tricks up their sleeve. None of Buffalo's tricks ended up helping them score, as they were obliterated by the Jets, despite having almost 300 yards offense. With 2 INTs and 3 sacks, Jim Kelly clearly struggled to make the big plays. New York, on the other hand, scored 4 TD's on their rushing efforts, only rushing for 115 yards. Their rushing attack simply helped compliment Namath's outstanding throws. Namath, as usual, only completed 13 passes, but with such deep throws, averaged 20 yards per completion with 266 yards total. Jets win 44-...
